I’m so excited for tomorrow. But at the same time I’m very afraid of tomorrow. I’m very afraid of her. Afraid of the sheer grasp she still has on my very being.

I sit sometimes trying to figure out exactly what it is I feel towards her. It’s this really strange love. She just holds such a special place in my heart and I can’t ignore that. Every time I see her joy just fills me up. I always worry about her, wonder how she’s doing. Sometimes I really miss being her only man. Feeling all of her love and knowing she thinks about me just as much. Other times I just accept that she no longer feels that way about me, but I can’t stop. I’d do a lot for that girl expecting nothing in return. And although it hurts me to think of her with someone else, I’d genuinely be okay with it as long as she’s happy. I love her in a way I can’t explain. I miss the little fights and the awesome days she brought me.

I mean, even if I can’t be the one for whom she smiles, I’d still kill to make sure there’s a smile on her face.
